Pectoral Implants for Men

Pectoral Implants are used to shape, enlarge, and firm the chest muscles. Implants help one attain the look they want while still allowing the natural look when flexed or relaxed. If you are looking for a better and more filled out look without spending hours at the gym, than pectoral implants may be the answer.

Pectoral implants may also be used in reconstruction or for augmentation. The implants are used to correct issues such as spina bifida, pectuscarinatum, and pectus excavatum. These conditions cause deformities in the chest that altar the normal appearance of the chest muscles.

The procedure for pectoral implants is generally simple and preformed as an outpatient. An incision is made in the armpit and a pocket is created under the native pectoral muscles of the chest. The implant is then placed inside the pocket. It is made of soft and solid silicone which is previously sculpted to the right size and most aesthetic appearance.

It is recommended that the patient not exercise their chest for 2 weeks prior to surgery. After surgery, the patients should take 2 weeks off of work, and not play any sports for at least 2 to 6 weeks.
